Winter Wonderland Swish...

If you're in London, or happen to be heading there this weekend - DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS! It looks amazing...

The team behind Swapaholics UK are organising a clothes Swap next Saturday in Shoreditch, London. It's all about sustainability, upcycling clothes, recycling, and ultimately, having an amazing time...Sounds like the perfect weekend activity to me!

Have a look at whats on offer...

Elie from Swapaholics told us a little more about the story behind Swapaholics:

Who are Swapaholics UK?

SwapAholic UK is a group of four young Londoners obsessed with clothes, fashion and the environment. Founded over a glass of wine, the idea was to have a fun event where people felt they were helping the environment and getting something in return. People buy clothes and wear them once or twice before they end up, abandoned, in a dark corner of the wardrobe. We want to change this! We want to give our planet and the clothes a second chance by hosting clothes swapping.

What is swapping and how does it work?

The idea is that you bring a couple of used items in good condition. For every accepted item you get one token which enables you take one item of your choice from another swapper’s collection.

Our slogan, which says: ‘Swap, don’t Shop’, points to the joy of finding the item of your dreams with a clean conscience. You don’t have to fear your account balance any more. You don’t need to feel bad for buying ‘too many’ clothes, which is ultimately bad for the environment and your wallet!
