The to do list has now reached epic proportions... it has now had to be transfered to an A3 piece of paper heehee!! Well today has been finishing bits of work off that I want to try out in my exhibition space on Monday or Tuesday... and finishing off all the MDRDM kits... they're taking much longer than I thought they would and are constantly being added to as I remember lots of things that would be useful to have in them!! I have also been focussing on Labelling my exhibition pieces and making sure they all have the same branding on to give them a unified look. Tonight's task is to update the last bits of my journal as to ease the pressure for next week so I can bind the final bits and get it out the way!! Hopefully a few more bullet points will also be crossed off tonight but i think i'll still be in for a long night!! here are a couple of photographs of my branding on the knitted pieces and also a couple of photos of my giant chooser that is going to hold my business cards...

ABOUT ME

Zoe Grace Fletcher Currently undertaking a PhD at Manchester Metropolitan University within the MIRIAD post-graduate department, I am beginning a practice based academic journey into British wool fibres and new technologies within knitwear design. Graduating with Distinction from a Masters in Fashion and the Environment at London College of Fashion, specialising in hand-knitting and the British Wool Industry, I have worked on a number of knitwear collections (personal and external companies), whilst freelancing and researching for a number of exciting projects. My work revolves around the idea of sustainable fashion from a knitted perspective and the different ways to achieve this incorporating the ideas of slow fashion into mainstream society. I love knitting. And wool. And double sided sticky tape.
