Lay plans set...

So with the final pieces of knitting coming along slowly but steadily (I wish I could knit faster, or have two sets of hands!!), my final collection outcomes have been cemented (eek pressure!)

And here are the colour choices - I am off home to dye the yarn for the green dress before I knit the design, and whilst I am home I am also going to dye the pink tunic dress with madder - I am very scared as its my first time dip dyeing whole garments - so hopefully my practice with the sample yarns will have prepared me a little, i'm just hoping it comes out evenly!

So the knitting and sewing up process begins...

Graduating with Distinction from a Masters in Fashion and the Environment at London College of Fashion, specialising in hand-knitting and the British Wool Industry, I have worked on a number of knitwear collections (personal and external companies), whilst freelancing and researching for a number of exciting projects. My work revolves around the idea of sustainable fashion from a knitted perspective and the different ways to achieve this incorporating the ideas of slow fashion into mainstream society. I love knitting. And wool. And double sided sticky tape.
